Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team both clinical and corporate to support the implementation of the new Oracle Health EPR. Be confident to initiate conversations and engage in inter-professional networking across the Trust with staff of all grades. Use your clinical expertise to help localise the new EPR whilst evaluating and where appropriate aligning with current clinical workflows. Provide your expertise in clinical documentation and patient care processes to ensure the new system is fit for purpose. Engage in data validation, and testing activities, ensuring active data migration and system functionality. Offer guidance on the development of training materials, educational methods and user support guides. To proactively monitor and encourage uptake of training in your divisional area. Train as a superuser in the new EPR and be able to confidently offer sandbox sessions within your clinical division to all members of the MDT. To act as a contact between the clinical teams, ICT and Innovate by proactively reporting any technical issues or challenges to the team. To participate in mock go-live events and assist in assessing the readiness of the Trust for change. Support during the go-live phase by providing on-site assistance to staff, addressing any real-time issues and ensuring uninterrupted patient care. Working flexibly particularly during go-live which may require nights and weekend cover. To participate in the post go-live phase by ensuring successful embedding of the new EPR. Leadership and Management: To assist the Chief Nursing Information Officer and Senior Digital Health Nurse as required. To attend appropriate meetings and provide a strong clinical voice and opinion to help guide the implementation of the new EPR. Maintain regular contact with designated areas and staff members in providing support and advice to ensure that objectives are met and outcomes achieved and that these are documented and available to both staff and the line management structure. To aid in effective communication between clinical teams, ICT and Innovate for the duration of the EPR project. Professional and Clinical Responsibility for developing and maintaining own knowledge, skills, clinical skills, and professional awareness in accordance to the AHPs/NMC Revalidation requirements and maintaining a professional portfolio. To participate in the setting and maintaining of high standards of evidence based care. To work clinically for 1 short shift weekly in order to remain clinically up-todate, retain skills and maintain relationships within your department.
