As an Administrator, you will be based in our state of the art Sterile Services Unit, your work will be varied, from ordering stock to instrument repairs and all administration in-between. By joining us you'll be making a significant contribution to Patient Safety in both Private and NHS Hospitals.
The Role
To provide administrative support in which individual tasks and / or the range of areas covered require the co-ordination, planning and organisation of a range of activities/ information. This can be for one area or cover a range of areas, as required by the organisation.
As an Administrator, you will:
* Provide efficient and effective administrative support to the standards and timescales required.
* Coordinate, plan and organise a range of activities.
* File, store, retrieve and collate information / items accurately and efficiently.
* Handle queries within the remit of own role and escalate more complex / serious issues to senior staff where required.
* Provide a reception service, which involves customer contact and provision of advice within the remit of own role.
The Person
To succeed as an Administrator, you will:
* Proactively identify the needs and expectations of customers and strive to meet these.
* Communicate appropriately and effectively on straightforward subject matters. Record information correctly and undertake basic data processing.
* Respect and support colleagues within the team and other departments.
Previous Knowledge, Skills and / or Experience:
* Experience of working within an administration / office environment.
* Good IT and keyboard skills.
* Good communication/interpersonal skills.
