Are you an experienced Manager with a passion for social care? We are looking for an Assistant Manager to join our multidisciplinary team at a specialist neuro centre. As Assistant Manager, you will work alongside a dynamic team to ensure the highest standards of care are met, empowering individuals to reach their full potential. You will be an instrumental part of the leadership team, guiding staff and coordinating services to achieve exceptional outcomes for those we support.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide professional leadership and hands-on management support to staff.
* Supervise and guide staff, including team leaders, ensuring quality standards and organisational values are adhered to.
* Assist with budget management, capital, and revenue monitoring for the service.
* Oversee staffing schedules, ensuring adequate staffing levels and staff development.
* Maintain a person-centred approach in delivering care and support plans, ensuring the needs of each individual are met.
* Collaborate with local authorities, clinicians, families, and other stakeholders to ensure an integrated, multidisciplinary approach to care.
* Participate in an on-call rota and provide support during evenings and weekends as required.
* Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including Care Quality Commission standards and Health & Safety guidelines.
About You:
* QCF (NVQ) Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care, or equivalent qualification (or a commitment to work towards it).
* A proven track record in managing and leading care staff.
* In-depth knowledge of Care Quality Commission regulations and statutory requirements.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
