The Letchworth Family Support Team are looking to recruit a new Family Support Worker to join their friendly team. We have one part-time 15 hrs per week term-time plus 2 weeks contracts available. Due to the funded nature of this post, this is on an initial contract of 18 months. Working across Letchworth Garden City, you will be passionate about delivering early help against the Families First Continuum of Need, understanding where families can seek further support through both your input, that of your team and through knowledge of local and national organisations and charities for signposting. We're looking for someone who has experience of working with families in need. Applicants with transferable skills from work within schools, charities or the local authority will be considered and induction training and CPD will be provided. Most importantly, we need applicants who have empathy, want to help and can work with multiple organisations to support positive outcomes for the families that they are supporting.
