Wood in Staines are seeking an Offshore Principal Process Engineer for an offshore greenfield project. You will be taking the role during FEED, post HazOp, to mature Offshore Wellhead Platform process deliverables to be ready for Detailed Design. It will require client interfacing and must be able to demonstrate a complete process understanding and ownership for the entire offshore wellhead platform process scope. You will also be working in an integrated team, so must be able to liaise and support other Disciplines to ensure project success. The role is to be based in the Wood's Staines office, at least 3 days a week.,
* Lead a disperse team of up to 10 engineers
* Provide checking to foresaid deliverables / activities,
* Attend and contribute to reviews, safety studies, client meetings etc.
* Following both Wood's/Clients QA and the projects requirements,
* Performing contracted duties with respect,
* Providing support/guidance/leadership to the project team,
* Routinely keeping the Project Engineer informed of status deliverables/ activities/ work scopes that they have responsibility for,
* Managing resourcing, costs and schedule within contract requirements for their team,
* Adhering to contractual requirements including but not limited IPRs, NDAs etc, and reporting any breeches promptly to project management
* Managing and Notifying the Project management promptly whenever a risk or issue arises and adhering to the projects' HSE polices.
Detailed Work Scope: Produce and Check deliverables and/or activities commensurate with a Principal Process/Area Lead engineer on an offshore greenfield project including but not limited to:
* Drawing development:
* P&IDs
* PFDs
* PSFSs
* MSDs
* Document development:
* Philosophies,
* Basis of Design,
* Guidelines,
* Reports,
* Studies.
* Schedule development:
* Cause & Effects,
* Equipment Lists,
* Line Lists,
* Utility & Emissions summaries.
* Calculations, using either in-House templates or develop bespoke solutions where required
BSc(Hons) Process Engineering
* Experience leading and working with Process equipment on offshore projects, utilities.
* Must have the right to work in the UK
