Order Processor wanted in Greater Manchester!
KBB Recruitment are pleased to be working with a nationwide, leading independent kitchen retailor to help them find an order processor to join their team.
Full time permanent position, Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm, paying £25,000 - £35,000 DOE.
You’ll be working as part of a small, friendly team who work well together and take pride in the job they do. Customer base is divided geographically, and you’ll be the main point of contact for customers in each area as well as the external sales reps for that area too. This enables you to develop a solid working relationship. You’ll be processing orders and invoices, answering queries and liaising with different departments to ensure orders are on track.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Process orders for component and complete kitchens, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
2. Prepare and provide quotes to clients in a timely manner.
3. Liaise with customers to confirm product specifications and delivery timelines.
4. Maintain and update records, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date.
5. Provide excellent customer service, addressing queries and resolving issues promptly (by both phone and email).
6. Collaborate with the sales and production teams to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflow.
7. Credit Control.
Requirements:
1. Highly organised with the ability to multi-task and work in a busy environment.
2. A friendly, positive and solution-focused attitude.
3. Minimum 3 years of proven experience within the kitchen industry, ideally from a cabinet manufacturing background.
4. Be motivated, reliable, able to multitask and have pride in your work.
5. A strong understanding of kitchen components, including knowledge of when to use specific hinge types, drawer boxes, and accessories.
6. Experience in CAD design and 3D design software (Articad, Winner, SketchUp, AutoCAD).
7. Familiarity with software such as Imos, Easyquote, Trueblue is an advantage.
8. Knowledge and understanding of woodworking and kitchen fitting processes.
9. Keen eye for detail and ensuring accuracy in their work.
10. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
11. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
