Technical Sales Manager, SOCOTEC
To support our ambitious growth plans, we have a great opportunity to join our Water Equipment Sales Team. As a leading provider of Environment and Safety services across the UK, SOCOTEC provides a comprehensive and unrivalled range of water hygiene, treatment, equipment, and consultancy services across the UK and worldwide.
We are looking for a Technical Sales Manager responsible for driving sales of our Water Treatment Equipment products and solutions by engaging with customers to understand their needs, delivering technical presentations, and collaborating with internal teams to develop tailored solutions. Our client base includes high-level consultancies and specifiers as well as M&E contractors and Water Treatment service providers.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
1. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Water Industry
2. Strong technical knowledge of and experience selecting base exchange, reverse osmosis, dosing equipment, and filtration.
3. A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
4. Be highly self-motivated with a strong focus on accuracy.
5. The ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
6. Be able to identify and engage potential customers, understand their technical requirements, and provide tailored solutions.
7. Attend site to survey for bespoke installation work and identify opportunities.
8. Work closely with finance, sales, and operations teams to align on pricing strategies and margin goals.
9. Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and presentations for management, detailing progress towards sales goals.
