Field Service Engineer, £35,000 - £38,000 per annum
Based from Thetford
Monday to Friday, 40 Hours per week
About the Role:
Our client, a leader in the industrial services sector, is looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join their team. This role offers a great opportunity for a professional with expertise in maintaining and servicing industrial systems. You will be responsible for ensuring equipment functions efficiently, providing top-level service, and working both independently and within a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform service, repair, fault diagnosis, and commissioning of new equipment.
Effectively utilize the computer system to manage tasks and records.
Communicate customer requirements and any site changes to service coordinators in writing.
Identify spare part requirements and report these, including part numbers, to the service team.
Refer any product or service complaints to the relevant manager for investigation.
Share solutions, successes, and opportunities with the Service Manager.
Key Skills & Experience:
HND/HNC in an engineering discipline (preferred but not essential).
Ability to diagnose and solve equipment faults.
Strong record-keeping and documentation skills.
Excellent communication, decision-making, and IT skills.
Ability to prioritize and stay calm under pressure.
Willingness to work independently and as part of a team.
