Grwp Llandrillo Menai was established in 2012 as a result of mergers between Coleg Llandrillo, Coleg Menai and Coleg Meirion Dwyfor.It employs 2,000 staff and delivers to 21,000 learners, including 1,500 higher education learners across Anglesey, Conwy, Denbigh and Gwynedd. The main purpose of this role is to support the Programme Area Manager for Computing and Creative Industriesat Coleg Llandrillo. They will be integral to the management of the Programme Area th at currently includes 365 students and 38 members of staff across a wide range of specialisms including Computing, Game Development, Performing Arts, Art & Design, Music Technology across FE and HE from levels 1 to 6. FE Courses primarily follow the UAL specification with a number of computing/IT courses following the Pearson BTEC specification. The Programme Area also offers a number of school link courses at 14-16 and 16-19 as well a significant number of Part-Time Adult courses that have proven popular over many years. Staff in the area also assist in the delivery of A-level provision at both Rhos-on-Sea and Rhyl sites.
