Job Title : Equipment Maintenance Technician Reporting To: Section Head I, TE Sustainment Work Schedule: Onsite – Tewkesbury, GBR 9-month Fixed Term Contract. We are seeking an experienced Equipment Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing repair, build, and maintenance activities on all company hydraulic and electronic equipment. This role requires strong communication skills, teamwork, and a commitment to high standards of performance. This is working days 7:30-4 mon-Thurs and 7:30-1 Friday Key Responsibilities: Provide full preventative maintenance and repair support for all test and production equipment. Ensure all quality procedures are followed and can be demonstrated to internal and external auditors. Purchase parts to maintain inventories and repair equipment efficiently and cost-effectively. Ensure all equipment is calibrated after any repair before returning it to production use. Adhere to health and safety practices and maintain relevant risk assessments. Actively participate in 5S activities to continuously improve work areas. Qualifications: Relevant vocational qualification in an Engineering discipline. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a hydraulic/mechanical or mechatronic role. Familiarity with electronic circuits and diagnostics of test equipment for multi-axis, closed-loop, servo-hydraulic, and electromechanical test systems. Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, and Visio. Knowledge of Indysoft, Teamcenter, and PIRANA is advantageous. Skills and Competencies: Strong written and verbal communication skills. Honest, trustworthy, and reliable with self-imposed high standards of performance. Ability to work well in a team and assist other technicians as needed.
