Rate of Pay: £24.88 - £32.47 per Hour
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Social Worker to join our dedicated Families and Wellbeing team. As part of our commitment to providing high-quality support and safeguarding services, you will independently manage a caseload, undertake complex assessments, and collaborate with multi-agency teams to secure positive outcomes for children, adults, families, and carers.
Responsibilities:
* Undertake community care and safeguarding assessments for complex or unusual cases.
* Provide critical information and support to individuals, families, carers, and communities to improve quality of life.
* Maintain accurate and timely case notes, prepare reports, and present evidence in court when required.
* Act as a source of expert advice within your team and across the organisation.
* Liaise with multi-agency teams to ensure a seamless, person-centred service.
Qualifications:
* Degree in Social Work (or equivalent qualification e.g. DipSW).
* HCPC Registration (or relevant regulatory body registration).
* Evidence of continued professional development in line with the Professional Capabilities Framework (PCF).
* Completion of relevant post-qualifying or vocational training courses.
Experience Required:
* Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in social work.
* Experience working in multi-agency settings.
* Proven experience working with carers and families.
* Direct involvement in statutory social work practices including assessment, planning, safeguarding, and court proceedings.

* This role requires an Enhanced DBS
