Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Collaborate with teachers and other staff to create an inclusive classroom environment. Support students in developing social, emotional and academic skills. Monitor and record student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents. Assist with classroom management and behaviour support. Requirements of the Graduate Teaching Assistant (SEN): A recent graduate in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Psychology, Child Development). Experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable. A patient, caring and empathetic approach. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. A commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment. Relevant qualifications or training in special education are a plus. Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
