We have partnered with one of the leading childrens charities and we are looking for Residential Support Workers across Leicestershire. In Harborough we are looking for staff to work in the Family Assessment Team the salary is between £25,000-£29,000 depending on qualifications and experince. The House has 3 self-contained flats with the capacity to house up to 3 families at any one time. Families utilising this type of service may include parents with moderate to high learning needs, those presenting with issues around domestic violence, and or substance/alcohol misuse. Additionally, they may have experienced mental ill health and/or trauma. During their stay, the parents will be supported in their parenting by staff, whilst being assessed.
The primary aim is revolving around promoting best practices, through guidance, role modelling, key work sessions and practical advice on matters relating to concerns, risk, safety, routines, and boundaries.
You will build trust and develop nurturing relationships which promote the service user’s independence, wellbeing, strengths, and capabilities. You will work in partnership and build relationships with parents/carers and other professionals. You will contribute to the upkeep of the home including cooking, cleaning etc.
You will document information accurately and ensure records are kept up to date and ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are adhered to. You will promote, monitor and maintain a safe environment at all times.
Essential
Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare
Able to commit to sleep-ins and shift work, including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis
Driving License
