Then this is the job for you GXO run an ambient food distribution site for M&S in Milton Keynes, as our Planning Coordinator you will support the planning function in ensuring the site has adequate capacity to deliver service within budget This is a full time, permanent position, where you’ll be working on an any 5 from 7 shift pattern. You will work an 8-hour day shift, with start times varying on a rota between 05:00 and 08:00. You’ll get plenty of notice of your shifts (we aim for 26 weeks ahead), let’s face it if we can’t plan right there’s a problem Pay, benefits and more: You’ll be paid a salary of up to £27,851.20 per annum. What you’ll do on a typical day: Ensure that the planning process runs smoothly and efficiently by providing effective support for the planning management team Undertake administration activities and processes such as: holiday and overtime approvals, issuing rotas, updating absence, responding to ad-hoc requests and updating absence Ensure communication flows between the planning team & warehouse to better understand requirements and improve ways of working to drive performance and operational excellence Maintain departmental spreadsheets and reports to ensure the integrity of KPI data What you need to succeed at GXO: A strong understanding and knowledge of resource planning, warehouse routines and systems You’ll need strong IT skills (particularly Microsoft Excel), knowledge of time and attendance systems would be highly advantageous You’ll need to work well on your own initiative, with the commitment to produce high quality and accurate work You’ll have the confidence to engage with all levels of the operation and our customer directly We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
