We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Assistant to support our Human Resources function and contribute to the effective management of our workforce. Key Responsibilities: - Assist with the end-to-end recruitment process, including advertising vacancies, shortlisting candidates, arranging interviews, and onboarding new employees. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, including personnel files and HR databases. - Support the administration of employee benefits, contracts, and payroll-related documentation. - Assist in the coordination of staff training and development activities. - Respond to HR-related queries from employees and external stakeholders. - Support HR processes such as disciplinary and grievance procedures, ensuring compliance with employment law and company policies. - Assist with HR projects, including policy updates, engagement initiatives, and compliance reporting. - Prepare HR reports and provide data analysis as required. - Ensure confidentiality and security of HR data in line with GDPR and company policies. Person Specification Essential Criteria: - Previous experience in an HR administration or assistant role. - Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail. - Knowledge of HR processes and employment legislation. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively. - A proactive and professional approach to work. - Willingness to travel as required. Desirable Criteria: - CIPD Level 3 qualification (working towards or willing to work towards). - Experience working within an education or training environment. - Knowledge of HR software and systems. Safeguarding: Ensure that you are aware of the process to be followed in any Safeguarding issue and who to contact. Ensure that knowledge on Safeguarding is maintained and mandatory training completed promptly.
