JOB - QHSE Manager
LOCATION - Slough
TERM - Permanent
SALARY - £45,000 to £55,000 per annum (plus benefits)
Premier Engineering is working with a leading engineering company based in Slough that is looking to hire a QHSE Manager. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in quality, health & safety, and environmental management within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
The QHSE Manager will ideally have the following attributes:
* A relevant qualification in Quality, Health & Safety, or Environmental Management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO Lead Auditor).
* Proven experience in a QHSE management role within an engineering or manufacturing setting.
* Strong knowledge of ISO management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
* Experience in conducting audits, risk assessments, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
* Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and compliance.
* Ability to develop and maintain QHSE policies and procedures.
* Strong problem-solving and leadership skills.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with all levels of the business.
The QHSE Manager role will involve:
* Managing and improving the company's QHSE systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
* Leading internal and external audits and ensuring ISO certifications are maintained.
* Conducting risk assessments, implementing corrective actions, and driving a strong safety culture.
* Providing training and guidance on QHSE policies and best practices.
* Investigating incidents, identifying root causes, and implementing preventative measures.
* Working closely with senior management to align QHSE strategies with business goals.
* Ensuring environmental and sustainability objectives are met.
