Due to continued expansion of the business, we have a exciting opportunity for a Senior Highways Engineer to join our dynamic highways team.

This a full time, permanent position based in our Slough office.
The successful candidate will report to the Associate/Associate Director of Highways and will be responsible for delivering designs and assessment on a variety of projects, liaising with clients, and mentoring/developing junior engineers.
Development and delivery of concept, preliminary & detailed highway designs
Development of project task budgets and programmes and delivering targets
Planning and undertaking of site visits, inspections and investigations as required.
Taking an active role in the implementation of CDM duties on projects
Communicate effectively and professionally with the design team, clients, and contractors.
Master’s degree in civil engineering or equivalent and working towards Professional Qualification
Experience in line managing and providing technical oversight for delivery teams.
Understanding and experience of design using 2D CAD and Civils 3D
Knowledge and experience of financial management.
Experience managing multiple projects both technically and financially.
Strong commercial and contractual understanding.
