Job Summary
This role is responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of our products and their successful deployment for customers worldwide. The Initial Airworthiness Delivery Team oversees current and future aircraft development, production, and delivery activities, ensuring the airworthiness of our products. This is an exciting opportunity to join a newly established team in the Filton area and contribute to shaping the team's dynamic and culture within a new division.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and deliver engineering activities using systems integration and systems engineering techniques. Sustain the initial integrity of Air products through production challenges and reviews of design, certification, and assurance evidence. Validate and challenge the initial evidence through professional judgement and constructive feedback, performance of audit and assurance activities, and involvement in design and phase review assessments.
Requirements
Aircraft Avionic / Mechanical systems design / Aerodynamic disciplines knowledge. Experience within design configuration control processes. Design certification (qualification and safety) and airworthiness processes. Knowledge and experience of the Engineering lifecycle. Analytical methods to support establishing integrated aircraft level flight limitations.
