We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Director to lead our energy solutions team in Scotland.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to oversee the day-to-day running of energy centres across a commercial and residential portfolio. As Senior Project Director, you will be responsible for managing the entire project lifecycle, from tendering to operation and maintenance, with a strong focus on efficiency, quality, and achieving key performance indicators (KPIs).
Key Responsibilities:
* Cash, Margin, and Sales Management: Deliver cash, margin, and sales in accordance with budgets and forecasts.
* Work Winning and Project Delivery: Lead and manage work winning meetings/tenders with estimating, design, and commercial staff, identify innovative solutions for winning work and delivering projects, attend and lead pre-contract and contract review meetings, and understand contract and client requirements for performance and delivery.
* Project Team Leadership: Approve and maintain inspection and test plans, commissioning programmes, ensure O&M manuals are produced and issued in accordance with project requirements, manage project teams to ensure project viability is maintained, attend site meetings, produce contract status reports, review systems and methods to improve contract performance.
* Bid Team Leadership and Client Engagement: Engage with potential clients to build relationships and work as a leader of the bid team, promote and comply with Company policies on equality and health and safety, engage with your manager in reviewing your performance and planning your development, coach and develop direct reports to achieve targeted goals and objectives.
Requirements:
* Project Experience: Successful background controlling large value projects or a number of lesser projects at one time.
* Team Collaboration and Financial Awareness: Experience in developing collaborative working environments which produce high-performing teams, excellent financial awareness, and understanding of the need to adhere to strict timetables to maximise profits.
* Drive and People Management Skills: Drive, excellent people management and team working skills.
Estimated Salary:
£60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
