Accountable to: Wellbeing Manager Brett
Salary: Up to£26,500
Location: Ravenswood
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (to include some evenings and weekends)
Contract: 6-12 month fixed term contract (maternity cover)

About the role:
You'll work closely with the Wellbeing Manager and in conjunction with other professionals as required, to assist in the development and delivery of a quality social and wellbeing activity programme for individuals or groups, primarily for people with neurodevelopmental disabilities. This includes:
Manage a team of staff to deliver the social and wellbeing activity provision on a day-to-day basis, which also include supervisions, team meetings and 1:1's.
Oversee the provision of social and wellbeing activities at Ravenswood, which includes the regular social and wellbeing activity programme, one off events, home setting sessions and community integration.
Monitor and review the progress of social and wellbeing sessions for groups and individuals including reporting, recording KPI’s, audits and other administration responsibilities.
Actively promote Ravenswood social and wellbeing provisions to the wider community and generate income through bookings from external groups or individuals.
Maintain health and safety standards, ensuring that all people we support and staff adhere to the safety guidelines in place.
Implement all policies required for the social and wellbeing provision including Health and Safety, Safeguarding, Manual Handling, Equal Opportunities and COSHH.
Maintain risk assessments for all sports and activity sessions on site.
Undertake necessary training for accreditation of skills and qualifications.
Essential:
Experience working with adults who have a learning disability in a health or social care setting
Delivery of social and wellbeing activity programmes
Good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills - grade C or above in GSCE English and Maths or equivalent
Excellent interpersonal, social and communication skills
Positive attitude towards disability and the benefits of physical activity
Able to work co-operatively and collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team
An understanding and commitment to Equal Opportunities
The ability to work methodically and plan time effectively
Willingness to undertake further training and achieve qualifications as required
A high level of commitment and enthusiasm
Able and willing to be flexible in approach to work and responsive to changing demands of the organisation and service users
Willingness to work some evenings and weekends
Desirable:
Line managing practitioners to deliver programmes
Utilising safe & effective manual handling practices
Valid First Aid certificate
Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation
