An exciting opportunity has arisen within Powys Teaching Health Board and we are looking to appoint an Equality and Welsh Language Officer to cover Maternity Absence in a friendly, dynamic and innovative Welsh Language and Equality Team. This role will contribute to ensuring that the Health Board delivers on its wider Welsh language and equality objectives and regulations, thereby helping to ensure that equitable services are offered to people in the Powys area. Main duties of the job We are looking for a proactive individual to develop and deliver Welsh language and equality projects, initiatives and promotional campaigns. You will need to be a compassionate person with an understanding of the challenges facing minority groups and individuals within the Powys area. The role will include providing advice, guidance and support to colleagues on a range of matters involving equality and the Welsh language to ensure that fairness and equality is at the heart of everything we do.
