The company have an opportunity for a Regional Account Manager. Reporting to the Sales Manager, you will be working with their customers across the Northwest of England, nurturing and developing existing relationships while also exploring new business and clients through a solution led approach.
The Regional Account Manager will be responsible for
* Maximising sales within the assigned customer portfolio, (and uncovering new customers and opportunities) by execution of our growth strategies
* Developing and maintaining business partnerships with key decision makers whilst creating and executing plans that discover and help drive our customer’s strategic initiatives.
* Designing solutions that apply value propositions and strategies to further commercialise existing and new products and services.
* Supporting customer service and continuous improvement through the company’s values and initiatives
Job Requirements & Selection Criteria
* 3-5 years previous experience selling in the industrial sector with either an OEM or specialist Distributor in Automation, Mechanical or Fluid Systems (the products you have sold are not majorly relevant, in this case, it is more about the candidates behaviour, competence and attitude)
* Bachelor’s Degree or trade qualification in Engineering.
* Strong business and financial acumen with the ability and genuine willingness to work collaboratively with cross functional teams.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate and negotiate with key decision makers and high-level client personnel.
* Proven ability to understand technical concepts, plant processes and to take learning new ideas/concepts in their stride with a proactive approach to problem solving and initiative.
* Proficiency with MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM systems.
