The Role: Your role will be working in a development and support team working primarily in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI); the team are involved in other information development projects, which include implementing new technologies for Hampshire County Council. The initial focus of the role is to work closely with team colleagues to support and develop low-code applications. You will also assist in implementing new projects and will be expected to become involved with wider development platforms and technologies as required. You will have expert support and advice from your colleagues and have access to appropriate training materials. This role will be based at our Winchester offices, however as part of Hampshire County Council’s Open Workplace Policy, the successful candidate can undertake their work between home and the office (a hybrid approach) depending upon operational requirements, with the majority of their work able to be performed at home if desired. You will be familiar with a variety of standard desktop and server applications and be prepared to enhance that knowledge with a detailed understanding of new systems. You will be a self-starter, willing to take the initiative, with good analytical skills, and strong communication skills. Experience of working in a structured development team; where you have had to manage workloads and understand business requirements is essential.
