About the role You will join us as a Security Supervisor reporting directly to the Soft Services Manager. You will deputise for the Manager during periods of absence and on a day to day basis you will be involved with the management and supervision of a medium sized security team (circa 10). You will be working in a modern busy Shopping Centre, where you will be expected to have expert knowledge on how to deescalate conflict issues and deal with security related incidents. Your key role is to maintain security, health and safety and stakeholder relationships. You will be expected to have a friendly disposition and be outgoing enough to get to know the Centre Management Team and maintain good relations. You should perform your role with diligence and instil confidence in others that you will resolve their concerns quickly. Your attitude should always focus on ‘how can I help’ in all situations. You will be flexible and willing to help and act as a key part of the team. During your working day you will focused on developing and coaching staff to deliver service excellence. Core Responsibilities: Carry out walk arounds to identify any faults ensuring the premises is maintained, well presented and clean at all times Reporting faults to Management Provide information and deal with any queries from the Shopping Centre Tenants and members of the public To assist the Soft Service Manager with the daily running of the security team Preparing weekly work Rota Balancing holiday requests against operational needs Monitoring of staff sickness and conducting welfare meetings as and when needed General security duties Monitoring CCTV Implementing staff training as and when required. Ensuring staff remain compliant with GUK’s and Client procedures and protocols Must have: SIA licence Right to work in the UK Excellent customer service skills Basic report writing and IT skills and able to compose emails and preparing incident reports.
