We are searching for an experienced Associate Director, Corporate Reporting (National Audit Technical Services).
About the Team
Our National Audit Technical Services (NATS) is responsible for maintaining and driving the technical quality of the audit firm's operational procedures, providing technical support to partners and staff, and conducting quality control reviews.
A subset of NATS is the financial reporting team, which provides support on technical accounting and financial reporting matters.
We are expanding our financial reporting team to meet growth in our audit practice, support technical accounting, ensure quality, identify efficiencies, and implement financial reporting changes. Join us during this exciting time!
About the Job
Your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Acting as a financial reporting specialist on complex audits, providing expertise to support high audit quality.
2. Assisting with financial and non-financial reporting consultations via the firm’s service desk.
3. Performing second opinion reviews of technical accounting matters under IFRS and UK GAAP, and developing our audit teams.
4. Drafting internal technical communications and practice aids related to corporate reporting.
5. Collaborating on projects, including developing audit work programmes, managing the financial reporting intranet pages, and researching new developments.
6. Serving as a point of contact for technical queries from client-facing partners and staff across regions.
Role Requirements
* ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent.
* Experienced Senior Manager with a background in or closely working with audit technical teams.
* Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP financial reporting.
* Experience reviewing UK listed entity financial statements for compliance.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and interpersonal.
* Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
