About the role
The Head of Brand and Content is responsible for defining, developing, and executing a comprehensive brand and content strategy to elevate the company's brand presence and support its business objectives. This role requires a visionary leader with expertise in both creative brand development and content marketing, ensuring consistent messaging across all touchpoints and driving engagement across diverse platforms.
What you'll be doing
Lead the development and execution of the company's brand strategy.
Oversee brand positioning, tone of voice, and visual identity to ensure consistency across all channels.
Drive the evolution of the brand to maintain relevance, innovation, and leadership within the industry.
Collaborate with the senior leadership team to ensure that brand strategy supports business growth and customer engagement.
Develop a comprehensive and innovative content strategy that supports both short-term and long-term business objectives.
Ensuring timely and impactful content that supports product launches, campaigns, and other initiatives.
Manage content distribution across digital platforms, including websites, social media, blogs, and email campaigns.
Build, lead, and mentor a cross-functional team of brand managers, content creators, designers, and marketers.
Regularly conduct market research and brand health tracking to continuously assess HLs brand position in the market and make recommendations for ongoing enhancement.
Work with data and analytics teams to track the effectiveness of content and brand initiatives, using insights to optimize future campaigns and adjust strategies to enhance brand.
Manage budgets, timelines, and resources effectively, ensuring the delivery of campaigns within scope and on schedule.
Track performance metrics for brand and content efforts, reporting on ROI and adjusting strategies as needed.
About you
Experience in brand management, content strategy in a leadership role.
Demonstrated success in building, growing and/or re-launching a brand, as well as creating and executing high-impact content strategies.
Excellent copywriting, storytelling, and editing skills.
Experience managing and mentoring a high-performing team, with a collaborative and empowering leadership style.
Ability to work seamlessly with teams across the organization, including marketing, product, PR, Corporate Affairs and customer service.
Knowledge of digital marketing, SEO, SEM, and social media platforms.
Interview process
The selection process will incorporate competency-based questions including an assessment of your knowledge and transferable skills. For candidates who progress to the next stage, there will be a presentation or assessment to prepare and an online psychometric assessment.
Working Schedule
This role is based in our Bristol head office, BS1 5HL. This is a permanent full-time role, Monday to Friday. For this role we offer a hybrid flexible working pattern of working in the office and at home.
