A challenging opportunity has arisen for a Senior Digital Hardware Design Engineer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge digital systems and communication transceivers at {company} in Torquay, Devon.
This role involves designing and developing high-speed digital circuits, focusing on signal integrity, timing analysis, power distribution, and FPGA integration. Responsibilities also include PCB design, circuit simulation, and hardware prototyping to support next-generation digital systems and communication transceivers.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Expertise in high-speed digital circuit design, including PCB layout and signal integrity analysis.
* Strong understanding of high-frequency design principles, timing analysis, power management, and communication transceivers.
* Proven experience in FPGA design and verification (VHDL/Verilog).
* Proficiency in design tools such as Cadence Allegro or Mentor Graphics.
* Experience with high-speed interfaces like DDR, PCIe, or SERDES.
