This is a new opportunity and career path with a fantastic team-focused brand, who are looking for a Goods-in / Warehouse Operative to work the afternoon shifts.
We seek someone who wants to engage with award-winning and successful people, learn, train, and develop new production skills to become a valued member of the team.
You will be rewarded both financially and with career progression/development if you want it, in niche areas of food production and manufacturing.
The role will require physical and manual tasks in the warehouse using pallet trucks, supporting a conveyor belt production line, stacking products, unloading, loading, and ensuring the correct products are brought from the warehouse to the production line so that production can be completed on time, ready for distribution to clients.
First Week Trial Shifts are paid at £11.44 Per Hour.
Hourly Pay Rates For Week 2 Onwards Increase to £12.01 Per Hour.
Once 12 weeks are completed, a work assessment and pay review can lead to increased rates of pay based on your reliability, transferable skill set, and progression.
* Production Operative and Machine Operator roles can offer hourly pay rates between £12.71 and £13.65 Per Hour (depending on the shift worked).
Duties:
1. Working in a busy Goods-in warehouse team.
2. Supporting the production line team.
3. Following written instructions on daily work sheets.
4. Listing products needed for the shift for the production and machine operators.
5. Lifting, carrying, and handling products up to 25KG (sacks of products, containers, using pallet trucks, walking up and down stairways, etc).
6. Movement of product around factory automation lines by hand or using pallet trucks.
7. Following precise instructions with hygiene, health, and safety checks.
Due to the rural location, working hours, and lack of any reliable public transport links, you will need your own car, motorbike, or scooter. If you live locally, then you can travel 20 minutes by bike to get to and from work every day, but it will be up and down dark country roads.
You must be eligible to work full-time permanent in the UK; we cannot offer work visa sponsorship. You must live in the Hampshire area to be considered for the role.
