Our client, is a high growth full service business, providing accommodation, food, transport and cleaning services to industrial clients. The company has customers and partner organisations spread across NI, GB and Europe. It has gone through its startup phase and is about to embark on a period of rapid growth as it expands and evolves its model from 3 sites currently to approximately 10 sites. As the owners look to this next phase of its growth, they have decided recruit for this role, with the intention that you will build the necessary structure and staff team and lead the company into the future. The Job: The successful candidate will initially assume responsibility for all operations of the business, having a large focus on customer success as the company scales further. You will work closely with the owners to develop the current commercial strategies in order to realise the growth objectives of the business. Manage all operations overseeing deliver of contracts and identification of new opportunities. Ensure operations are delivered to the highest quality, managing staff and subcontractors accordingly. Analysing and reporting on financial performance of the business Recruitment and development of staff Management of growing team of staff currently 25, expected to double next year. Work hand-in-hand with the current MD to continually tweak the processes and operational organisational structure during future high growth phase in order to ensure for continued world-class service provision. Adhering to set projects and strategic plans. Growing overall business and competitive position of the business Work closely with owners and Head of Sales Develop annual market assessment and sales strategy for full range of services. Oversee sales and pricing management of services. The Candidate: The successful candidate will have management experience within a medium to large commercial business and be able to demonstrate where you have added real value to the operations and commercial success of that business. Entrepreneurial attitude, self-direction, sense of urgency, focus on results with proven track record of accomplishment in a business. Heightened work ethic and commitment levels Excellent analytical and communication skills with ability to deliver focused recommendations and direction to organisation. Proven ability to design, and in the hands on implementation of, clear operational plans in support of the companys strategic objectives. Developed team building and leadership skills with proven ability to manage people and to develop their full potential across a wide range of technical disciplines. Drive and enthusiasm to take the companys operational functions to World Class performance levels. Strong financial awareness, analytical and presentation skills and be used to preparing operational budgets, in the preparation and critical review of monthly KPIs. An in-depth knowledge of business systems and practices to establish cost and efficiency information to aid an appropriate response aimed at ongoing improvement.
