Job Description:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the UK&I Consulting Quality Team within EY, a diverse and multi-geography team based in Belfast. The Quality Team facilitates the adoption and application of policies, procedures, methods & tools, and principles that EY has implemented globally to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with contractual, regulatory, and organizational requirements, thereby managing risks on client engagements.
Reporting to the Belfast Team Leader, you will support the Consulting business with legal, contract review, client delivery, regulatory, and risk management matters. The ideal candidate will have experience in general contracting principles, including drafting standard contracts, terms and conditions, and other contractual/regulatory documents. We seek a motivated individual with experience in a professional services or legal sector.
Your responsibilities
The role includes:
* Coordinating with Legal, Independence, and Business Resilience teams; acting as a point of contact for reviewing and resolving contractual and risk management queries related to:
* Business relationships, liability, data protection, third-party risk, terms & conditions, confidentiality agreements, and data protection.
* Reviewing and advising on client agreements, subcontracts, NDAs, and teaming agreements, ensuring compliance with EY’s guidelines.
* Providing training on risk management practices and contract review procedures.
* Addressing contract issues with escalation when necessary.
* Proposing solutions to enhance quality processes and practices.
* Collaborating with SMEs and legal, regulatory, conflicts, and data protection teams to resolve complex issues and build trusted relationships.
* Managing regulatory requirements and supporting risk management projects.

Additional skills:
Ideally, you should have experience with:
* Government or public sector contracting or procurement queries.
* Regulatory independence, GDPR, personal data, and confidentiality requirements.
* Proven experience in risk management, commercial contract negotiation, procurement, or professional services roles.
A university degree is preferred but outstanding candidates with alternative academic paths are considered. Fluency in English is required.
