Up to £60,000 DOE
Salary up to £60,000 DOE plus a relocation allowance up to £5,000.
Position Overview
We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join a close-knit team. We can support you whether you are consult, surgery, or medically focused and we can help ensure a case variety that works for you. Two vets have completed medical certificates with us. We have a small exotics caseload which could easily be expanded if that is your area of interest.
Working Hours
We are looking for someone to work 30 hours per week with 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:15-14:15. No OHH or Sundays. We know that everyone has demands and priorities outside of their career, and we want to make it easy for you to strike the right balance.
About Us
Midland Veterinary Surgery is a first opinion 4.5 vet practice, with nurse training and a dedicated reception team. Our Clinical Directors Emma and Holly value the team and their life outside of work, so they aim to run the diary to ensure shifts finish on time with adequate admin time. They have an open-door policy and aim to actively listen to the team about ideas for improving clinical standards, client and patient care, and team education. As a practice, we strive to help our clients and patients whatever their budget, giving options and actively engaging with clients about what is best for the pet. We support our team to develop and can do this in-house, via externships at other larger practices in the group, and tailored CPD. We have an external surgeon and ultra-sonographer to support us with more complex cases.
Facilities
Our practice hosts a wide range of equipment such as X-ray, Ultrasound, Dental X-ray machine, and an in-house biochemistry machine. We are easily accessible with excellent transport links into Central London and plenty of shops nearby.
