Job Role: External Salesperson
Location: Wakefield
Shift: Days Only
Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 Per Annum
Metalis is working in partnership with a Wakefield based client who, due to continuous growth, are looking to hire a skilled External Salesperson on a permanent contract.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Acquire and develop new and existing customer prospect opportunities to meet annual revenue and growth targets.
2. Build relationships with new and existing customers via phone, emails, and regular face-to-face visits.
3. Monitor and analyze business from existing customers, markets, and competitors.
4. Identify new markets and business opportunities.
5. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets.
6. Educate customers on our full product offering/services and how they can support their business needs.
7. Manage existing customer relationships.
8. Contribute to and implement the company growth strategy.
9. Promote our products/systems and services throughout the UK.
10. Deliver presentations/lunch and learns to new and existing customers.
11. Ensure company CRM system is updated as required.
12. Collaborate with Systems, Hose & hydraulic fittings division to promote the entire company offering.
13. Target new customer accounts within 3 months.
Job Requirements:
1. A strong sales attitude with a willingness to travel throughout the UK.
2. Proven external sales track record.
3. Previous experience within the hydraulics industry.
4. Experience with CRM systems and marketing.
5. Be enthusiastic, reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
6. Have a full UK driving licence - Travelling to client sites is essential.
Salary & Shift:
Salary £35,000 - £50,000 DoE
Company car / car allowance
25 days annual holiday plus public holidays
