The Company
Our client is a well-established and fast-growing international FMCG business with a diverse portfolio of premium brands and exclusive distributor partnerships. A leader in its category across multiple countries, this entrepreneurial and forward-thinking company is known for innovation, quality, and a strong growth trajectory across the UK, Ireland, and beyond.
As part of its international expansion strategy, the business is now focused on accelerating growth in France—a key market with significant potential. To support this, they are seeking a talented Key Account Manager – France to join their commercial team and take ownership of this exciting and high-profile territory.
The Role
This is a pivotal commercial role that offers the chance to develop, design and execute the company’s strategy across the French market.
You will:
1. Take full P&L responsibility for France
2. Deliver annual volume, revenue and profit objectives
3. Build and manage relationships with French grocery retailers (e.g. Carrefour, Intermarché, Leclerc)
4. Lead and collaborate with 3rd-party distributor partners
5. Leverage internal sales, marketing and supply chain capabilities to drive commercial performance
6. Identify and convert new business opportunities, while nurturing and growing existing accounts
This is a high-impact, hands-on role with a clear opportunity to shape the company’s future in France.
About You
We’re looking for a highly motivated and strategic commercial professional with strong experience in international FMCG sales. You will bring:
1. At least 5 years’ FMCG experience in an international sales or key account role
2. Proven success managing French retail customers within the grocery channel
3. Fluent French and English language skills
4. A self-starting, entrepreneurial mindset with strong negotiation, commercial, and project management skills
5. The ability to both hunt for new opportunities and farm long-term partnerships
6. A willingness to travel to France regularly, ideally based within easy reach of an international airport or Eurostar
Experience in branded household or food/drink categories is an advantage. Most of all, you’ll bring passion, energy and drive to succeed in a high-growth, fast-paced international environment.
