The department is a teaching environment supporting the educational and clinical development of junior trainees and non-medical teams (including Nurse Practitioners, ACPs, Orthoptists and Optometrists) to support their development within extended roles., We are looking for an individual with specialist experience to provide new and follow-up out-patient clinics, primarily across Glaucoma, General and Emergency eye care. Depending on experience other sub-specialty clinics may be available based on service need.
The post holder will be part of the emergency eye clinic team undertaking outpatient clinics along with triage from primary care and internal ED departments across site.
There will be 2dedicated weekly administration session for audit and research.
