With over 100 years’ experience they are part of a global business that supplies into multiple sectors both in the UK and internationally. The have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive and grow Engineering Sales, identify and build new relationships as well as working closely with existing key customers to develop and maximise brand presence. The Role Reporting to the Sales Director, your responsibilities as Territory Sales Engineer will include: Territory management to grow sales with new end users and maximising new sales opportunities Meeting and exceeding revenue targets. Nurturing relationships with new and existing customers to maximise Sales opportunities Delivering training and development on product range Working closely with internal departments to meet customer requirements Providing regular customer updates throughout project lifecycle Effectively managing your sales pipeline Providing industry, market or competitor reporting where relevant Supporting company exhibitions Occasional international travel The Candidate The Business Development Manager will be an Engineering graduate and will receive all required product training. It would be ideal if you have experience of a Technical Sales type role linked to Manufacturing. You will also need: At least 3 years Territory Sales experience To be target driven Driven in relation to New Business Development Have a customer focussed approach Strong communication skills A logical and solutions-based approach To be experienced in presenting technical information The Benefits In return, the successful Business Development Manager can expect a competitive salary of up to £45,000 (dependent on experience), Company Car, up to 20% Bonus and an excellent package that can include Medical and Income Protection cover.
