EVCGF, a leader in logistics and supply chain solutions, is looking for a dedicated Logistics Coordinator with a focus on the automotive and energy sectors. This role involves managing complex logistical operations in a fast-paced environment to ensure our clients receive seamless and efficient service. The ideal candidate will be driven, detail-oriented, and proactive in their approach to problem-solving and process optimisation. The role’s key responsibilities are: Daily Logistical Operations: Manage all product transportation and shipping processes, including UK/EU road shipments and international courier arrangements, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to service levels. Purchase Order Management: Track, record, and monitor stock control, including goods received and dispatched, through a Warehouse Management System (WMS). Client System Coordination: Work with various client logistics platforms, including Cargowise, Excel, WMS, and Client Portals, to support and facilitate logistical activities. Order Coordination and Documentation: Organise dispatches and collections for client orders, maintain comprehensive logistics documentation, and follow up on outstanding purchase orders. Shipment Review and Tracking: Track and monitor shipments to meet SLA and KPI requirements for timely delivery and returns. Supply Chain Performance Monitoring: Evaluate and manage relationships with transport providers, maintaining performance standards to meet or exceed KPIs. Proof of Delivery (POD) Management: Ensure PODs are accurately collected and uploaded to the client portal in alignment with KPIs. Invoice Processing: Oversee invoicing procedures to ensure timely and accurate processing. Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with EVCGF’s internal teams to support a standardised approach to logistics services. What we need from you: Skills & Experience Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy. Professional, customer-focused demeanour. Initiative-driven, adaptable, and solution-oriented. Analytical skills with the ability to assess and improve logistical processes. Competency with Microsoft Excel and other logistics software. Strong organisational and time management skills. Ability to foster relationships with both internal team members and external logistics partners. Qualifications: Proven experience in logistics, ideally within the manufacturing, supply chain, or automotive sectors. Knowledge of UK and international freight logistics, including import/export procedures.
