We are looking for a dependable, forward thinking Payroll Administrator/Specialist who consistently meets high standards and takes initiative. The ideal candidate will solve problems, enhance processes, and work independently without requiring close supervision. Key Responsibilities: Payroll Processing: Manage end-to-end payroll for PAYE workers, Ltd companies, CIS workers, umbrella employees, and recruitment agency candidates. Timesheet & Data Management: Accurately process timesheets from various sources, ensuring data integrity and timely payroll execution. Expense Validation: Review and process expenses, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Compliance & Payroll Checks: Conduct thorough payroll checks, ensuring accuracy, compliance with HMRC guidelines, and adherence to statutory requirements (e.g., SSP, SMP, pensions). Payment File Management: Create, review, and validate payment files for submission. Stakeholder Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for payroll queries, resolving issues efficiently for internal teams, clients, and external partners. Team Leadership: Manage an offshore team, overseeing payroll processing and ensuring alignment with business goals. Reporting & Insights: Generate detailed reports using Power BI and other tools, providing actionable insights. Process Improvement: Continuously review payroll processes, identifying areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and service delivery. What We’re Looking For: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to navigate multiple systems. Demonstrated experience in high volume data entry and payroll processing. Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. A proactive mindset, with the ability to independently troubleshoot and improve processes. Excellent communication skills, capable of building strong relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders. Experience managing offshore teams (preferred but not required). Comprehensive understanding of payroll legislation, including PAYE, tax codes, pensions, and statutory payments. Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
