About the role:
As a Senior Digital Analyst in the ICT Enterprise Systems Team, you will lead on implementation and strategies for the continuous improvement of the council’s business critical systems. The team maintains and develops systems and solutions to meet the needs of local people, businesses, and council staff. This includes technology and systems which serve some of our most vulnerable residents.
Our mission is to deliver a high quality user experience across all ICT services, including providing fit for purpose systems and guidance, high standards of accessibility, availability, usefulness, and excellent customer service.
We are looking to fill a Senior Digital Analyst position primarily supporting the HR & payroll system, but will also develop other processes and systems in line with the roadmap across other ICT product teams.
Your key responsibilities may include:
* Support, maintain and develop iTrent and Talentlink.
* Support users to get full value from our digital tools.
* Manage reporting requirements and coordinate the collation of workforce information.
* Liaise with internal teams or external software vendors about system enhancements.
* Develop and improve internal processes between the HR and other systems.
* Champion the adoption of best practices and methodologies.
* Build relationships with key stakeholders.
* Manage and mentor colleagues.
About you:
We don’t expect you to tick every box on our job description. The most important things we are looking for are:
* Minimum of 5 years experience supporting, configuring and developing iTrent processes.
* Minimum of 5 years experience using various tools including business objects for reporting.
* Expertise in systems support or administration of large ERP systems.
* Understanding of application lifecycle and product life cycle.
* Third party vendor management experience.
* Knowledge of ITSM framework.
* Experience working in an Agile environment.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Organised with prioritisation skills.
* Experience of positive and effective teamwork.
