If so, then one of these roles could be for you We are looking to fill vacancies at two very different sites – The Skerries and Ynys Feurig – both are part of the Anglesey Terns SPA and home to mixed colonies of Arctic & common terns. Accommodation will be provided. The ideal candidate will be a wildlife enthusiast, self-motivated, meticulous in data collection, and happy to work outside in all weather & isolated locations. What we need from you: Essential skills, knowledge and experience: • Passionate about birds & wildlife• Happy to live & work in a team of two in a remote location• To be meticulous and thorough in data collection & recording• Able to work & meet deadlines with minimal supervision• Able to complete physical tasks• Have good bird identification skills, including terns• Be practically-minded & able to problem-solve• Be confident in report writing• Happy to work outside in all weathers, including at night (Ynys Feurig only) Desirable skills, knowledge and experience: • Have experience of biological data collection• Full driver's license valid for use in the UK. Additional Information This is a Fixed-Term role (3.5 months) for 37.5 hours per week. The RSPB reserves the right to extend or make this role permanent without further advertising dependent on business needs at the end of the contract term.
