We are excited to be recruiting for a Commercial Finance Manager to join a high-growth, PE-backed services business based in Derbyshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to take the next step into management. This role offers a blend of management reporting and true business partnering, with autonomy over a division and direct exposure to both the Divisional MD and Group CFO.

ROLE
The Commercial Finance Manager will be responsible for providing financial insight and commercial decision support to key stakeholders, ensuring the business continues to scale effectively. You will also oversee one member of staff and play a pivotal role in driving financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:
* Management reporting – ownership of divisional financial reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
* Business partnering – working closely with operational leaders to drive financial performance and strategic decision-making.
* Forecasting & budgeting – preparing robust financial plans and challenging assumptions.
* Financial analysis – identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to support commercial decisions.
* Process improvements – enhancing reporting frameworks and financial processes.
* Team leadership – managing and mentoring one finance team member.
* Stakeholder engagement – regular interaction with the Divisional MD and Group CFO.
PERSON
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in both financial reporting and commercial finance. You will be analytically strong, commercially minded, and confident in working with senior stakeholders.

* Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with post-qualification experience.
* Experience in both financial reporting and commercial finance.
* Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to challenge and influence.
* Ambitious and proactive – looking to make the step up into management.
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, PE-backed environment.
* Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
