Prepworld are looking for a Proseal Tooling Maintenance Technician The role is primarily to support the Engineering Shift Manager with Proseal tooling maintenance tasks and associated management of Proseal tooling to ensure suitably maintained tooling is consistently available to support Production Main duties: Maintain critical machine tooling to a high standard to ensure availability and reliability when installed on the machines Manage tooling spare part availability by liaising with the Maintenance Planner Manage a visual tracking process for machine tooling to identify location, current status and availability Engage with Production Shift Managers and Operators to assist with machine tool setting and provide training when required Support LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department Adherence to safe working best practices Adherence to PrepWorld company values Participate in training and personal development activities Other duties as assigned by the Shift Engineering Manager Who we are looking for: Ability to undertake basic maintenance tasks to a high level Competent in Word and Excel Good level of English (written and spoken) A good knowledge of safe work practices comfortable working in a chilled environment A team player with good communication skills Good problem-solving skills Highly organised and detail orientated Ability to create and manage basic technical documents Can do attitude – See It, Own It, Solve It Trained in basic maintenance techniques and best practices Previous experience of a fast moving, highly motivated work environment with a high level of expected competency Experience of delivering basic training to operators to achieve a level of competency What we provide in return: Wagestream (track your earnings and instantly access up to 50% of your money as you earn it, without waiting for payday) Internal Learning and Development programme including our inspiring Leadership Programme Free, on site parking with electric charge points Staff events Staff restaurant serving heavily subsidised hot and cold food A supportive team Career development Days and hours of work: Monday to Friday, 08:00am - 17:00pm Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum Location: Northfleet, DA11 8HH
