About the company:
BA Marlborough is an established, well-respected kiwi owned company, which supplies the viticulture, agriculture and spraying industries throughout the top of the South Island. They are proud to represent some of the most recognised and trusted product ranges in the industry. They are also the importer/distributor of the Collard brand of viticulture equipment.
They now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced sales representative who, together with the Sales Manager, will develop and execute sales strategies to achieve the company's sales budget and growth objectives.
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will 'sell the story' as well as the products and just as importantly demonstrate how you value your clients through your high integrity and exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities of this position:
4. To develop measured sales and promotional strategies to achieve the company's sales targets
5. To conduct regular dealer training including product demonstration
6. Support dealers to convert end-user sales lead inquiries
7. To ensure the company, brands, people and products are represented to the highest degree at field days and trade shows
8. Organise and prioritise workload so to meet promotional deadlines
9. Assist Sales Manager to oversee annual sales, marketing and promotional calendar and marketing collateral
Knowledge and Experience:
10. Proven B2B sales experience
11. Excellent relationship building, communication and interpersonal skills
12. Track record in machinery and equipment sales preferred
13. Experience or affinity with the Marlborough viticultural sector would be an advantage
