As part of our reception team you would be expected to provide an excellent service to our patients. The work is varied and intersting and it includes answering the phone, making appointments, actioning online requests from patients, welcoming patients and visitors, listening and understanding patient needs, resolving queries or signposting patients to the appropriate service or appointment. You need to be well motivated and friendly with good people skills, enjoy working in a busy enviroment and being part of a team. You will be able to communicate clearly and effectively, showing understanding, care and assertiveness when appropriate. You will be capable of developing good administritive and organisational skills and have experience of using computers. Experience of working in healthacre is not essential as long as you possess the above qualities and are willing and eager to learn new skills and are flexible in your approach to work. We will provide in hours training and continuing support. We would look at the 37.5 hours available being split into two separate part time roles
