Job Role
You will be responsible for all aspects of the chilled supply chain, including developing relationships with customers, the factories, and forecasting. This role requires someone to understand the supply chain within a manufacturing environment. Demand is a large part of this role. You will also be in charge of deciding per product what quantities need to be delivered to the UK depots for several of our factories across Europe. Some other factories will manage their stock in the UK depot directly; you will help them understand the UK market and provide them with the information they need, challenging them to achieve their KPI (service level/wastage).
The Main Areas of Responsibility
* Forecast accuracy
* Review and align safety stocks and product management with respect to acceptable forecast deviation
* Put in place action plans to resolve service and waste level issues
* Routine and ad hoc data analysis to support sales and marketing teams
* Communicate with and help Andros factories in Europe, which are working in push flow, to understand the UK market and provide them with information about activities.
* Help to support and manage seasonal uplifts (e.g., Easter, Christmas, promotions)
Candidate Profile
The successful candidate will either be a graduate who has recently completed a technical degree or someone who has worked in the reality of retail/logistics.
They should be analytical, detail-driven, and able to work to challenging deadlines in a changing environment. They should work both independently and with the wider team and business where required. Building good rapport with supply contacts to acquire customer-side data is essential.
