Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

Looking for someone with 2D Electrical design experience eager to join a business that offers exciting projects, fantastic learning and development, and a fantastic career journey. This will include new product development and working with a dynamic team to generate or modify electrical harnesses for prototypes or specific orders.
Electrical Engineer Main Responsibilities:
1. Produce 2D CAD drawings of wiring harnesses to relevant ISO standards
2. Produce and maintain accurate bills of materials
3. Create detailed schematic drawings of the electrical system for the business' technical publications
4. Understand and use electrical wiring harness schematic to build or modify harnesses for development or production
5. Liaise with production to achieve completion of production and prototype machines
6. Engage in the prototyping of new components, their evaluation and testing
Requirements for the Successful Electrical Engineer:
1. Experience and knowledge of automotive electrics, electronics and CAN bus
2. Ability to read technical schematics and harness drawings
3. Experience drawing automotive harnesses
4. Experience or willingness to learn 2D & 3D CAD software (E3, SolidWorks etc)
