Job Description
Ultra Precision Control Systems (PCS) is seeking a Materials and Logistics Operator. Working as part of a team, you will support manufacturing by managing the movement of materials according to aerospace standards and practices, maintaining high levels of stock control and integrity, and supporting manufacturing and development activities.
Responsibilities:
1. Goods Inwards
2. Ensure accurate receipt of goods, including customer products.
3. Book in all goods, including customer returns, onto IFS promptly and logically.
4. Perform basic inspection of goods against delivery documentation.
5. Scan all received documentation to the appropriate locations.
6. Identify and report variances to paperwork and purchase orders.
7. Liaise with other areas to resolve issues promptly.
8. Book in items received for repair.
9. Contact suppliers and customers to resolve booking issues.
1. Stores
2. Receive and store production materials.
3. Maintain location control and lot/serial traceability.
4. Pick and issue materials against work orders and other requirements.
5. Dispatch goods based on customer orders.
6. Maintain stock accuracy through regular stock takes and cycle checks, reporting discrepancies.
7. Investigate stock discrepancies to resolution.
8. Follow Ultra and aerospace industry standards and procedures.
9. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and compliant.
10. Adhere to health and safety policies, proactively managing risks.
11. Contribute to and lead improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.
12. Maintain high-quality standards expected by customers.
13. Contain non-conformance material.
14. Perform additional activities as needed to support Ultra's goals.

* Experience in a stores, warehouse, or dispatch environment.
* Ability to work independently and in a team.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to follow and give instructions.
* Attention to detail and high-quality work production.
* Computer literacy.
* Flexible and adaptable approach.
* Experience managing daily activities to meet timescales and quality standards.
Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in an aerospace organization.
* Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
* Technical qualifications such as ONC, City and Guilds, or equivalent.
