Jamie Fobert Architects is hiring a Part 2 architectural assistant (or equivalent) to join its London studio.
Established in 1996, Jamie Fobert Architects has consistently produced innovative and inspiring architecture in projects ranging from individual houses to high-quality retail and significant public buildings for the arts, including the Stirling Prize-shortlisted Tate St Ives and the recently completed National Portrait Gallery. Current work includes an international design concept for The Macallan, a new Maggie’s Centre for Coventry and the development of the Royal Observatory in Greenwich, as well as individual houses, arts projects and retail projects in the UK and abroad.
We are keen to meet candidates with:
1. an intuitive understanding of 3D space;
2. a keen interest in materiality;
3. self-motivation, enthusiasm, adaptability and an ability to work well as part of a team;
4. high proficiency working in Rhino and 3D rendering software (V-Ray or similar).
