Job Title: HR People Partner
Location: Woking, Travel to various sites required

Duration of booking: Expected to last 4 months with possible extension

Pay Rates: Up to £29 per hour Umbrella or £25 per hour PAYE inclusive of holiday pay
Hours / Working Days: 37.5 hours per week / Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm

Key Responsibilities:
* Strategic Workforce Planning: Ensure workforce capacity and capability align with future organisational needs and strategic objectives.
* Employee Relations & HR Support: Provide expert advice on HR policies, employment law, and employee relations to mitigate risks and promote a positive workplace culture.
* Leadership Development: Coach and support managers to develop skills for addressing workforce challenges, driving engagement, and managing change effectively.
* Data-Driven Insights: Analyse workforce data (e.g., retention, training, attendance) to identify trends and inform decision-making.
* Transformation & Change Management: Support organisational change initiatives, including consultation, workforce planning, and policy development.
* Partnership & Collaboration: Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, staff-side representatives, and leadership to align People initiatives with organisational priorities.
* Inclusive Culture Building: Champion diversity and empower employees through engagement and shared expertise.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education & Certifications:
* Degree or equivalent experience.
* Postgraduate Diploma in HRM or a relevant qualification.
* Associate CIPD membership.
* Evidence of ongoing professional development.
Experience:
* Significant experience in a generalist HR role.
* Proven expertise in managing workforce change/transformation programmes.
* Skilled in employee relations, leadership development, and organisational change.
* Experience working in a unionised environment.
Knowledge & Skills:
* Up-to-date knowledge of employment legislation and best practice.
* Understanding of strategic HR and organisational development contexts, particularly within the NHS.
* Familiarity with the ESR system, including its implications, benefits, and future agenda.
* Ability to demonstrate strategies for engagement in managing change.
* Strong awareness of NHS policies, workforce implications, and services provided.
* Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills.

* Ability to build positive relationships with managers, colleagues, and trade unions.
* Strong organisational and prioritisation skills, capable of working under pressure.
* Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to travel to various sites.
* Proficiency in drafting reports, creating policies, and delivering presentations.
