Are you an Intermediate or Senior level Architectural Technician seeking a stimulating role to showcase your expertise? Penguin Recruitment is currently seeking a talented individual to join our client's team in Milton Keynes as a Senior Architectural Technician. As part of their collaborative team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative architectural solutions predominantly focusing on large scale Food Store projects.
Responsibilities:
1. Produce detailed technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
2. Collaborate with architects and design team members to develop and refine design concepts.
3. Conduct site visits and surveys to gather relevant information for project development.
4. Coordinate with external consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities as needed.
5. Ensure compliance with building regulations, standards, and industry best practices.
6. Mentor and provide guidance to junior staff members as required.
7. Assist in the preparation of tender documentation and contract administration tasks.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Degree or equivalent qualification in Architectural Technology or a related field.
2. Extensive experience in a UK architectural practice, with a focus on technical detailing and construction documentation.
3. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant software applications.
4. Strong knowledge of building regulations, construction techniques, and materials.
5. Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
6. Membership of relevant professional bodies (e.g., CIAT) is desirable but not essential.
