Associate Director - Insolvency & Restructuring

We are partnered with Australia's premier advisory firm that is on the lookout for a talented Senior Manager/Associate Director to join their National Deals team in Melbourne.
In this role, you'll primarily manage buy and sell-side financial due diligence engagements, with opportunities to work on various assignments across our Deals practice, including M&A lead advisory, valuations, financial modelling, and purchase price accounting.
Responsibilities
* Lead buy and sell-side projects, focusing on financial due diligence reports and related services such as databooks, forecast models, and deal contract reviews.
* Utilize your industry and market expertise to proactively address deal issues.
* Conduct and oversee financial and commercial analyses to inform key decisions and recommendations.
* Develop and design financial models and reporting protocols.
* Engage with key stakeholders, including clients, target management, and investors.
* Mentor and support the professional growth of junior team members.
Requirements
* Qualified chartered accountant with at least 6 years of experience, including 3-4 years in financial due diligence or Corporate Finance.
* Detail-oriented with exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal).
* Outstanding presentation, problem-solving, and analytical abilities.
* Commercially savvy with a strong team-oriented approach.
* Committed to achieving positive client outcomes.
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
